Location and Lifestyle.

Located in the Gulf of Thailand to the South West of Bangkok, Koh Samui is the jewel in Thailand’s tourist and residential development markets. Samui as it is generally referred to, has quickly become a travel “hot spot” and has attracted media attention for both good and bad reasons.

The island sits less than an hour’s flight from the country’s main airport(s) in Bangkok and is around 8 hours away from Bangkok by road or rail. Being protected by the Gulf of Thailand the risks of natural disaster are reduced and the island was indeed boosted after the 2004 tsunami.

The Khirana Samui development is located on the North West of the Island, an area which still retains its natural beauty. This is due to the fact that there has been much less development in the west and as such the environment, the people and the lifestyle is how one would wish for on a paradise island.

The island has developed in a somewhat haphazard way and it is refreshing to be away from the package tourist and overdeveloped areas of the East and the North. This is why we are creating a unique development for the more discerning buyer.

Our development is unique as the Project owners have demanded a more thoughtful design concept, taking into consideration environmental issues and design concepts that suit a tropical island. The owners expect to retain some units making the project more accountable.

Due to the Westerly location the land really becomes magical as the day draws to a close and sunset arrives. Our 70m stretch of private beach is bordered to the left by a small villa development which has been established for many years and to the right we have one of the islands more beautiful Buddhist Temples. Views from the resort cover the whole west coast of the island, down to the 5 islands and Angthong National Marine park, stretching up to Nathon and the North and are spectacular……….. the colours of the sky and the sea need to be witnessed to be believed.

As Samui is a small island being away from the mass overdevelopment in terms of property ownership makes perfect sense. After all it takes little more than 20-30 minutes to get anywhere on the island and to be away from the noise, motorbikes and stress of the main tourist destinations can only be a good thing.

The island’s developing infrastructure provides access to international standard hospitals, TESCO Lotus shopping as well as MACRO, Big C and other international standard retail outlets. There are 5* hotels such as the Four Seasons, Sila Evasson and Anantara as well as many boutique privately owned hotels, resorts and restaurants available for visitors to enjoy.
